Lawrence (Roland) of Beaufort, David P. Garner (Carolyn) of Southport, NC and James A. Garner (Atsuko) of Tokyo, Japan; his grandchildren, Shelby M. Garner, Davis Lawrence and Angelica MacPerson; his great grandchild Sophia MacPerson; and his siblings, Larry N. Garner (Nancy) of Harkers Island, Prentiss Garner (Marie) of Hubert and Joyce Sanderson of Morehead City.
