She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin and Martha Elizabeth Harper Petty. She is survived by: her husband Wallace B. Shook; her daughter Beth Brookins (George) of Beaufort; and her siblings, Robert Petty (Frances) of Sanford and Leora Ritter (Joe) of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
