It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Pittman Cannon (Beaufort, North Carolina), who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pittman and Thelma Pittman; her husband William; and her son-in-law Clifton. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Newell of South River and Gary Cannon (Allison) of Newport; her sister Kathy P. Mizell (Worth) of Manchester, TN; her grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Brandon Range and Brandon Smith (Kristian Morris); her great grandchild Brayden Range; her sisters-in-law, Sandra Cannon and Marie Wallace; her nieces, Melissa Ell and Wanda Mizzell; and her nephew Christopher Ell.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
