She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam and Sally of Washington; her husband Allen; her siblings, Julian of Washington, William of Washington, Louise Strother, Joyce Chadwick and Peggy Ann; her nephew Tony Englehardt; and her friend Betty Jean Moore (BJ).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Moore of Raleigh and Beaufort; her brother Pete (Faye Dean Washington) of Fuquay; and her brother-in-law Roy N. Moore, Jr. of Raleigh.
