Margaret Marie Becton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Marie Becton (Beaufort, North Carolina), who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carraway and Vera Carraway; her husband John "Pete" Becton; her siblings, Herman, Dick, Luther, Grady, Allen, Jake, Mary, Thelma, Agnes and Minnie; her daughter Janice Marie (Jackson); her sons-in-law, Billy Beasley and Jesse Gould; her grandsons, James, Gary Ray and Michael Preston; and her great grandchild Christopher Garner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Garner of Merrimon, Judy Beasley, Jackie Gould of Morehead City and Candy O'Neal of Morehead City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the Merrimon United Methodist Church and 3HC Hospice.
