She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Hodge and Izora Hodge; her husband James Edward Stanley Sr.; and her siblings, Henrietta Monroe, Vinella Jones, Emerson Hodge and James Hodge.
She is survived by: her sons, James Edward Stanley Jr. (Nikiti) of Apalachicola, John Everett Stanley (Carol) of Abbeville and Craig Conway Stanley (Brenda) of Beaufort; and her niece Ophelia Chambers of Morehead City. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Munden Funeral Home (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
