He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sharpe and Julia Sharpe; his siblings, Willie Sharpe, Otis Sharpe, Johnnie Lee Sharpe, Albert Sharpe, Hubert Sharpe, Isabelle Kettle, Beatrice Gibson, Josie Mae Jones, Annie Mae Cohen, Zena Mae Johnson and Carrie Busby; and his children, Leroy Hampton, Delores Sharpe and Glen Sharpe.
He is survived by: his wife Almira Sharpe of Beaufort, NC; his children, Carrie Sharpe of Beaufort, NC, Eddie Lee Sharpe (Pamela) of Morehead City, NC and Edward Spell of Lake Charles, LA; his daughter-in-law Pamela Hampton of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Marquisia Sharpe of Beaufort, NC, Leandro Godette Jr. of Beaufort, NC, Shannon Finch of Jacksonville, NC, Crystal Finch of Fayetteville, NC, Tony Olando Sharpe of Harlowe, NC, Tevin Sharpe of Raleigh, NC, Selena Foster, Tee Tee Foster of Harlowe, NC, Joseph McKelvey, Lynn Lewis of Durham, NC, Lakisha Walker of Beaufort, NC, Devon Matthew Jason Barnhardt and Decasey Wallace of Raleigh, NC; his niece Mary; his nephew Randy Franks of Chesapeake, VA; and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
