LaChance (Amy) of Wilmington and Vanessa Gill (Max) of Wake Forest; his stepsons, Shannon Adams (Cecilia) of Cape Carteret and Kevin Adams (Callena) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Matthew John LaChance (Michaela), Cara Gray, Sean LaChance, Sawyer and Samson John Gill; his stepgrandchildren, Chelsea, Ray, Rebekah, Caylee, Greyson, Landon, Amelia, Preslyn, Blake and Arlo; his great grandchild Mathew Cade LaChance; his former wife Ann LaChance of Beaufort; and his siblings, Joseph LaChance (Kathy Stift) and Helen Holmes (Joe) of Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
