She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Guthrie and Minnie Canon; and her brothers, Martin, Edward Guthrie and James Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Newman of Beaufort and Richard Newman III (Loyce) of Newport; her grandsons, Robert Newman of Portland, OR, Antonio Newman of Beaufort and Lester Gillberg of Herington, KS; her great grandchild George Gillberg of Herington, KS; and her aunt Mary Hudson of Sea Level. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
