With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Lee Styron Fulcher (Beaufort, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Styron and Naomi Styron; her husband Carl Fulcher Sr.; her stepson James Fulcher; and her siblings, Addie Goodwin, Ester Gilgo, Caldonia Gaskill, Ellen Goodwin, Winnie Goodwin, Curtis Styron, Harliss Styron, Donald Styron and Bennie Styron.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Carl Fulcher Jr., Bonny Fulcher Heet (Martin Martel) of Tampa, FL and Jerry Carlson of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Blondie Goodwin of Cedar Island, NC and Richard Styron (Jo Ann) of Cedar Island, NC; and her close friend Otis Goode.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North River Methodist Church Cemetery (2494 US-70, Beaufort, NC 28516).
