He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schofield and Hetty Schofield; and his brother Phillip Rogers Schofield. He is survived by: his brothers, Robert Charles Schofield Jr. of Kinston and John "Johnny" Allen Schofield of Beaufort; and his niece Judy Kay Schofield of Newport.
