He was predeceased by: his parents, James Phelps Moores and Jacqueline Scamihorn; and his siblings, Cheryl Denen Moores and John Moores (Nicole Fourmand). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Zehren Moores; his sons, Alexandre, Andre and James Moores; the mother of his children Stephanie Smith; his stepson Matthew Barry; his grandsons, Julian, Marcus and Arik Moores; and his sisters, Linda Baskin Rush, Shante Duree and Sandra Arene Moores.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ryan Funeral Home (305 N 10th St, De Pere, WI 54115). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Allouez Catholic Cemetery (2121 Riverside Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Friends of the North Carolina Maritime Museum at 315 Front Street, Beaufort, NC 28516.
