It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lupton Sr. of Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Venita Eileen Gillikin Lupton; his children, Jimmy Lupton, Kathy Eileen Lupton and Ruby Dawn Lupton; and his sister Rosemarie Pittman.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Wayne Lupton of Morehead City, David Allen Lupton (Dawn) of Beaufort, Donnie Ray Lupton of Morehead City, Brenda Lee Brande of Newport, Jamie Lupton of Otway and Kojak Lupton; his siblings, William Lupton (Patty) of Beaufort and Patricia Moore of Havelock; and his pet Penny Lou. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
