He is survived by: his wife Anita Cagle of Beaufort; his children, Claudia Garner of Beaufort and James Cagle Jr. (Joy) of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Stanley of Gloucester, Peyton Cagle of Louisiana and Zack Cagle of Arkansas. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
