He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin W. Davis, Sr. and Lena W. Davis; his wife Carolyn Willis Davis; his sisters, Louise Davis Hill (Eric Hill), Elsie Davis Hunt (Frank Hunt), Elizabeth Davis Potter, Pearl Davis and Jessie Lee Davis Paul; and his grandson Tyler Dopson.
He is survived by: his children, Irvin Wallace Davis, III of Beaufort, Lou Davis (Cindy Davis) of Wake Forest, Kim Dopson (Mark Dopson) of Snellville, GA and Kelly Gordon (T. K. Gordon) of Suwanee, GA; his grandchildren, Carolyn Jean Davis of Morris, IL, Andrew Davis of Wake Forest, William Davis of Wake Forest, Katie Fincher (Jeff Fincher) of Boiling Springs, SC and Ethan Dopson of Snellville, GA; his sister Virginia Hughes; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Paul and Tom Potter.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
