He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard, Sr. Ambrose and Ruth Ambrose; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Joan Ambrose of Jamesville, NC; his children, Sarah Ambrose of Williamston, NC and Jonathan Ambrose (Alison); his grandson Noah of Ayden, NC.; and his siblings, Faye Springfield (Robert) of Franklin, VA and Mike Ambrose (Pat) of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.
