She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "Joe" Buttry and Janie Buttry; her husband Guy C. Gillikin Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Edwards and Milan Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Gillikin (Laura) of Bettie and JoAnne Warren (Butch) of Zebulon; her grandchildren, Kimberly Peppers (Jonathan) of Otway and Shannon Nelson (Anthony Jr) of Bettie; her great grandchild Christopher Nelson of Harkers Island; and her grandchildren, Ashlyn Nelson of Bettie, Ava Piner of Beaufort, Arin Piner of Beaufort, Kenli Peppers of Gloucester and Karsyn Peppers of Otway. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
