It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Madden Murray of Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bennie Murray; her sons, Lummie Dean Murray and James Russell Murray; her siblings, Clarence, Charles, Isaac, John Henry Madden and Vivian Madden; and her sons-in-law, Arthur Moore and Willie George.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth George of Beaufort, Rosetta Murrell (Winston) of Beaufort, Sylvester Murray (Helen) of Newport, Virginia Moore of Scotland, GA, Arnetta LaMae of Morehead City, Ronald Murray (Teresa) of Charlotte, Tracy Murray (Ethel) of Beaufort, Angela Murray of Beaufort and Vincent Murray (Cynthia) of Murietta, CA; her siblings, Nora Madden of Beaufort and James Madden (Helen) of Jennings, LA; her sister-in-law Lillie Mae Murrell of Beaufort; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Jackson Murray of Los Angeles, CA.
