He was predeceased by: his parents, Dumay Cayton and Estelle Hampton; his son Christan Cayton; and his brother Allen Cayton. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Cayton; his daughter Wendy Cockrell (Michael) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Rachael Abbott (Quint) of Beaufort, Alexandria Cayton of Beaufort, Zach Cockrell of Beaufort and Brandon Cayton of Beaufort; his siblings, Paula Hampton (Eddie Smith) of Beaufort, Bob Hampton of Norfolk, VA and Tommy Cayton (Jeanne) of Bedford, VA; and his friend Tom Piner (Cathy) of Marshallberg.
