She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gillikin and Violetta Gillikin; her former husband Douglas T. Lewis; her husband Roland D. Lawrence Sr.; and her siblings, Marie Stafford and Hiram Gillikin.
She is survived by: her daughter Eileen L. Small of Newport; her stepchildren, Rebecca L. Smith (Gerry) of Morehead and Roland D. Lawrence Jr. (Lisa) of Beaufort; her granddaughter Tanya S. Sewell (Thomas) of Morehead City; and her great grandchildren, Tracy Sewell of Morehead City and Tiffany Sewell of Morehead City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
