He was predeceased by: his mother Eloise Jarman Rhue; his son Doy Ray Rhue Jr.; and his brother Albert Lee Rhue. He is survived by: his father Ira Thomas Rhue; his fiancée Stephanie Murray of Beaufort, NC; his brothers, Alvin Thomas Rhue (Sandra) of Beaufort, NC and Suthy Wayne Rhue of New Bern, NC; his grandson Michael Rhue of Girdwood, AK; and his pet Coat "Pocket".
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
