She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer McLohon and Lucy McLohon; her sons, Mike and Pat Wainwright; and her grandchildren, Brady Stancill and Megan Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband John Hinson of Beaufort; her children, Janet Lynn Rasberry of Greenville, Joy Neal of Charleston, SC and Gary Wainwright of Rocky Point; and her sisters, Joyce Jackson, Ann Collins of Atlanta, GA and Beverly Ann Vaughan of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
