He is survived by: his mother Nora Faye Dixon of Beaufort, NC; his wife Lou Ann Dixon; his children, Heather Dixon Bissette (Greg) of Randleman, NC, Virginia Truitt of Morehead City, NC and Cody Truitt (Ashley) of Beaufort, NC; his siblings, Suzanne Willis (Roland) of Beaufort, NC and Donald Dixon Jr. of Beaufort, NC; his grandchildren, Gabriella LeBron of Cary, NC, Josiah Dudley of Beaufort, NC, Easton Bissette of Randleman, NC and Caden Bissette of Randleman, NC; and his pet Sadie.
