It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Tharp of Beaufort, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Tharp and Julia Tharp; and his sisters, Medeba and Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann of Beaufort; his children, Holly Tharp (Craig Howson) of Australia and Scott Tharp (Yasmin-Amira) of New Hampshire; his stepdaughters, Jessica Stephens (Randall) of Bettie and Sarah Thrasher of Georgia; and his brother Mike Tharp. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
