She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wooten and Lillie Mae Simmons Morris; and her siblings, Emma Blango, Joe Lewis Fisher and Harold Lloyd Fisher.
She is survived by: her children, Mary A. Penawell (Roger) of Flora, MS, Doris Louise Snead of Apex, Patricia Seams (Ricardo Seams, Sr.) of Fayetteville and Leon Gilbert, Jr. of Florida; her grandchildren, Marissa Jenkins, Christina Barrow, Brent Bell, Felecia Hansford, William Gibbs, Jr. and Montressa Gilbert; and her great grandchildren, Nequa Godette of Edward Jenkins, II, Kaitlyn Bell, Cedric Hansford, Jr., William H. Gibbs, III, Kiara S. Gibbs, Kianna N. Gibbs McKinney R., Gibbs and Davante Johnson.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
