With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy Lawrence (Beaufort, North Carolina), who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Betsy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betsy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lamm and Reenie Lamm; her husband Ralph Lawrence; her son James Lawrence; and her stepson Paul Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Hollingsworth Jr. of Bettie and Tracy Casdorph (Doug) of Placentia, CA; her stepson Eddie Lawrence of Bettie; her granddaughter Savanah Assadoghli (Aaron) of Maddison, AL; and her great grandchild Ellie Assandoghli.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodville Baptist Church (450 US-70, Beaufort, NC 28516). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
