She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Helms and Mildred Helms; her son Mark Drake; and her daughter-in-law Linda Drake. She is survived by: her husband Charles William Curtis of Beaufort, N. C.; her daughter Diane Rose (Brian Rose); her grandson Carter Rose (Amelia Rose); her great grandchild William Rose; her granddaughters, Taylor Rose and Nicole Reed (Taylor Reed); and her great grandchild Emory Claire Reed.
