He is survived by: his wife Louise Strickland; his daughter Amy Allen Stockwell; his granddaughters, Olivia Grace and Lila Wren Stockwell; and his siblings, Virgil of Siler City, Winfred Allen (Bonnie) of Siler City, Phoebe Hembree of Murphy and Sylvia Strickland (Sam) of Raleigh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
