He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Marsh Cotton and Bishop Alton Cotton; and his brother David L. Cotton. He is survived by: his children, Stephon Cotton, Rae Ann Cotton, Hilda Cotton and Lamont Cotton; his siblings, Rev. Walter Cotton (Rena), Alter Mae Hatley, Delois Minter and Roberta Alston; and his uncle Curtis Marsh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, relative and friends.
