She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Atlas" Johnson; her parents, John Robert Heath and Louise Perdue Heath; and her siblings, Runelle Partin, Annie "Duck" Tripp, Susie "Kat" Elixson, Ruby Phillips, Charles Heath and William "Goo" Heath.
She is survived by: her son James Roy Wheeler Jr. (Cindy) of Graham, NC; her grandchildren, Lindsey Parks (Garrett) of Pittsboro, NC and Thomas Wheeler of Greensboro, NC; her great grandchildren, Carter and Avery Parks; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Mutt" Phillips, Annette Binkley (Ray) and John "Hobo" F. Heath (Mary Frances). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
