He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard "Dick" and Gail Barber; and his grandparents, Bill, Marvel Barber, Reuben and Nellie Hamilton.
He is survived by: his sister Gretchen Barber Heckman; his niece Reba Guthrie (Gabe); and his nephews, Adam Heckman (Maddy) and Ethan Heckman.
