He was predeceased by: his sister Karen Hudson Stanley; and his grandmother Lily Lee Banks. He is survived by: his wife Christie Burroughs Hudson; his children, Richard W. Hudson, III, Christian Hudson and Lillie Grace Hudson; his parents, Richard Hudson and Jeanette B. Hudson; his mother-in-law Mabel Burroughs; his sister Terry Vaughn; his siblings-in-law, Grady Burroughs (Ashley) and Linda Arquitt (Tom Mapp); and his nieces and nephews, Luke Vaughn, Hudson Vaughn (Gracie), Ben Stanley, Lee Burroughs, Logan Arquitt, Jordan Lupton, Morgan Arquitt and Allie Burroughs.
Following social distancing guidelines, there will be an outdoor celebration of his life Sunday, March 14 at 3:00 PM at Broad Creek Christian Church. Visitation will follow the service where masks are suggested.
