She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Dale Carawan; her sister Roberta Brennan Wooding; and her nephew Roarke Wooding. She is survived by: her son Philip "Aaron" Carawan (Christina); her grandchildren, Ciarrah, Brianna and Gavin; her son Christopher Allen Carawan (Heather); her grandsons, Oliver and Henry; her daughter Kathryn "Emmalie" Williams (Brad); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Nicole and Lorelei; her brother Brian Brennan Ph; her nephew Joseph Brian Brennan; and her niece Rochelle.

As an accomplished seamstress she crafted clothing and crafts for family and donations.
