He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Glennie Smith; and his granddaughter Laurin Elizabeth Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Smith; his daughter Kelly Lorraine Richardson (Keith); his siblings, Jerry Smith, Mike Smith (Cherrie) and Pat Smith; his grandson Kason; and his mother-in-law Lillian "Cat" Zimmerman.
