He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marybelle Redditt Hollowell; and his children, Sue H. Lee (Rod M. Lee), Bernard Benjamin Hollowell, Jr. (Jennie Z. Hollowell), Becky H. Ackiss and Steven E. Hollowell (Debby T. Hollowell). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Heartworks, Bayboro United Methodist Church, or Hospice of Pamlico County.
