We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2021, at the age of 82, Walter Parrish of Battleboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward Parrish and Lonnie; his sister Addie Ruth Joyner; his son Shawn Wiggins; and his grandsons, Christopher Parrish, Josh Parrish and Brandon Parrish.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Pope Parrish; his children, Brian (Rachel Parrish) of Rocky Mount, John (Tina Parrish) of Ohio, James (Karen Parrish) of Nashville, Joe (Shelly Parrish) of Ayden, Dale (Renee Wiggins) of Spokane, WA and Leo (Suzi Wiggins) of Clancy, Montana.; and his siblings, Dettie Sue Proctor of Nashville, Lonnie Pollard, Jr. of Nashville, Virginia (Tommy Page) of Sharpsburg and Wayne Parrish of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, family friends, and other extended relatives.
