He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gordon West, Sr. and Annie Mae Barrett West; and his wife Mamie Jane West. He is survived by: his children, Sherry West Taylor (Robert) of Whitakers, Terri West Hawkins, Chris Jones of Nashville and Tim Joyner of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Roxanne Brantley, Anthony Hawkins and Miranda Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Ethan Hawkins, Cole Brantley and Trevor Sherrod; his sister Jean Ann West Bryant of Spring Hope; and his cousins, Van, Catherine Sellers of Straits, Robert and Evelyn Sellers of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
