It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Gale McLean of Battleboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Brown Nelms and Marvin Earl Nelms; and her siblings, Mary Viverette and John Nelms. She is survived by: her husband Danny McLean; her sons, Samuel (Mollie), Joseph (Laura) and Daniel McLean (Kayleigh); her grandchildren, Lincon, Wyatt, Makayla, Rory and Gwendolyn; and her siblings, Richard, Ben Nelms (Janet) and Nancy Bass (Tim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
