He is survived by: his son Timothy Allen Wells; his grandson Tyler Finley Wells of Boyton Beach, FL.; and his siblings, Betty Marks Mangum of Wake Forest, Nancy Marks Jones (Ernest) of Rocky Mount, Joe Henry Marks, Jr. of Rocky Mount, Edith Bone of Woodridge, VA, Dale Cockrell (Johnny) of Elm City and David Marks (Faye) of Whitakers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
