He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Langley and Jetta Mae Langley; his daughter Melissa Jo Langley; and his brother Charles Langley. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Russ Langley of Battleboro; his children, Garland Lee "Vern" Langley II of Battleboro, Sheri Langley Shearin of Clayton and Ginny Lee Langley Brie (Jim) of Bailey; his siblings, Bobby Langley of Rocky Mount, Peggy Vester of Tarboro and Joyce Proctor (Ralph) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Marley Langley, Lee, Hannah Shearin, Angel Langley Conyers, Alisa Langley, Colleen Brie Kelly, Cameron, Noah and George Brie; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Shearin, Ayden Alwan, Amirah, Journee Conyers, Jeremiah, Camdyn Jones and Brooklyn Villano. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
