Though Floyd Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Floyd Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Dancy, Sr. and Dorothy Evans Dancy. He is survived by: his daughters, Charmain Lyons of Whitakers, NC and Shamika Denise Conyer of Miami, FL; and his siblings, Chatmon B. Dancy of Dunbar, NC, Dorothy Dancy Hinton of Rocky Mount, NC, Gwendolyn Blackwell of Dunbar, NC and Latisha Parker of Nashville, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Inc. (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886).
