He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Williams Crutchfield and Tomie Lee Ivey, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Croom Ivey; his children, Jordan Leigh Ivey (Brandon Lee) of Bear Grass, NC and Charles Samuel Ivey; his sisters, Jane Bass (Philip) of Washington, Juanita White of Washington, Gloria Hayslett (Mike), Norma Crutchfield and Dawn Taylor (Alan); and his grandson Adonis K. Lee. He is also survived by three nieces and 3 nephews, 6 great nieces and 3 great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association In Remembrance of Tomie Lee Ivey, Jr.
