With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lucas Edwards (Bath, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Edwards; her parents, Buck Lucas and Virgie Peterson Lucas; and her siblings, Alice Lucas, Eva Snipes, Floyd Lucas, Coy Lucas and Elmer Lucas.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Wanda Snipes, Carlene Johnson, Myra Daniels, Graylin Lucas and Edwin Lucas.
