Marion Sawyer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Sawyer and Erma Sawyer; her son Jeremiah Leggett; and her nephew Craig Bateman. She is survived by: her husband Pat Harrington; her children, Sandra Ferebee (Joel) of Camden, Carrie Wheatley (Marlon) of Greensboro, Marie Foster of Bath and Buddy Harrington of Bath; her nieces and nephews, Tori Harding (Mike) and Cody Hare of Bath; her grandchildren, Wade Ratcliffe, Samuel Ratcliffe, Celeste Wheatley, Raymond Lacasse and AmberLynn Sawyer; her great grandchild Braxton Lacasse; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan, Andrew, Brooke, Myla Harding, Alex Goff (Liz), Katie (Zack), Francesca Goff-Eldredge, Ashley (John), Mackenzie and Harper Rommel; and her siblings, Dorinda Bateman (Topper) of Belhaven, Ellwood Sprouse (Marlene) of Washington and Christy Hall (Mark) of Clayton.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Washington Funeral & Cremation Hillside Chapel (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
