She is survived by: her brother Ned Shappley II (Joan Shappley) of Lexington, Kentucky; her nieces, Anna Ogle of Greenville, Nell Mason of Edenton, Cate Mason of Chapel Hill and Elizabeth Bowers of Lexington, Kentucky; her nephew Ned B. Shappley III of Apex; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucy Grace, Caroline Baxter, John Marshall Ogle, Evans, Wilson Mason, Madeline, Meghan Bowers, Noah, Harper and Oliver Shappley.
