It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lana Lester Baird of Bath, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Matney Lester; and her siblings, Lawrence "Bud" Poff, Eddie Poff, Frances Vaught and Shirley Vance.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joni L. Boone (Steven) of Fairlawn, VA and Theresa L. Harris (Mitch) of Bath; her grandchildren, Joshua Pettrey (Terri), Zachary Pettrey (Cori), Brooke Pettrey, Michael Boone, Andrew Boone and Rachael Harris; and her great grandchildren, Waylon Pettrey, Ashlyn Boone, Mayson Pettrey, Emma Boone and Aiden Pettrey.
