He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Humphrey and Lula Humphrey (Byrd); and his siblings, Anna Margaret Elliott (Humphrey), Virgil, Harold and Tommy Humphrey.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his daughter Debra Woolard (Keenan) of Bath, NC; and his brother William "Joe" Joseph Humphrey. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and close friends.
