He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Elwood Jefferson and Jesse Mae Barnett Jefferson; his brother Michael Jefferson; and his granddaughter Birdie Cordelia Forbes-Pursley. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Kristin Forbes (Dylan) of Gastonia, NC, Katherine Forbes (Bobbie) of Oxford, MS, Grace Jefferson of Hernando, MS, Emma Jefferson of Hernando, MS, Robert Jefferson and Jason Jefferson; and his sister Brenda Adams of Bath. He is also survived by sister in laws, and his many loving nieces and nephews.
