She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Fluck and Frieda Fluck; her husband Bill; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her children, Mike Eichholz (Stephanie) of Murphysboro, IL, Dan Eichholz (Amanda) of Rochester, IL, Janet Gooden (Ron) of Bath, NC and Jeanne Weiss (Dan) of Belhaven, NC; and her sister Marless Doughty of Elizabethtown, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barb requested no flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Eichholz Family Scholarship awarded annually to a first generation college student attending SIU-C or Green Earth, P.O. Box 441, Carbondale, IL 62903.

“I was lucky enough to be part of the Madison county group that Barb joined periodically to ride bicycles with on Tuesdays. She was such a gracious lady who proudly loved catching us cousins up on her family and her life. May you all be cradled in loving arms at this difficult time ❤️‍🩹”
