With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell Metcalf of Barnardsville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ralph and Aretta Williams Ballard; her husband Roy Gaither Metcalf; her sons, Eugene and Donald Metcalf (Helen); her grandchildren, Joey and Savannah Metcalf; and her sisters, Pauline, Lucille and Ina.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Metcalf (Jo) and Steve Metcalf; her brother Frank Ballard (Faye); her grandsons, Darrell Metcalf (Morgan) and Daren Metcalf (Donna); and her great grandchildren, Davis, Lawson, Merritt, Corliss, Raylon, Jacob and Elizabeth.
